- Former Sooner coach Chuck Long, now HC for the San Diego State (motto: Marshall Faulk played here. A long time ago.) Aztecs, is being accused of excessive workouts. The message boards doubt the accusations, or at a minimum, the effectiveness of said workouts.
- Blake Griffin is sticking around Norman for another year. No truth to the rumor that Rhett Bomar's old job at the car dearlership is still open and Blake is hoping to cash in on the Miracle Mile of cars this summer.
- Malcolm Kelly was less than enthused about the environment around his workout yesterday and voiced several frustrations with the situation. Overall, IMO, it doesn't look good for either side...Kelly seems kinda whiny and the Sooners come across as being quite passive-agressive in potentially knocking a former standout player down a few slots in the draft. Personally, I think teams that pass on Kelly will be missing a sure handed receiver. If you look at the tapes, he catches ANYTHING that comes his way. Once he's fully recovered from the thigh injury, I don't think the speed will be an issue either. He's not Randy Moss, but I don't think he's Mike Williams either.
