Stolen Thoughts 8-12-08

• One of West Virginia's attorney's is foregoing his $109k of legal fees, and believes he "helped unify the state".
• Doug at Hey Jenny Slater has his 2008 motivational posters for the SEC up. They're like mine for the Big 12, but funnier.
• Apparently Bob Stoops had some offensive lyrics on his web site. I didn't know he had a website. When going to http//www.bobstoops.com, I end up at the SoonerSports football page. Since Stoops has not been arrested for packing heat on campus, I'm sure some minor disciplinary action will be sufficient.
• Troy University coach Larry Blakeney is my choice for preseason Coach of the Year. When asked if he thought the Troy-Boone State game this year was a "revenge" game, Blakeney responded, "They might have a bonfire and burn some of T. Boone's money to get ready for the game." T Boone is not in favor of burning his paper for energy sources, but he is an advocate for wind, as long as your tax dollars are helping.
